This Red Tailed Hawk would fly from tree to tree as I scooted
along the water line by boat in Canyon Lake California. Although
I’ve seen many in flight while in California and Arizona, they are
hard to sneak up on for a picture. It seems that most birds are not
quite as threatened if you are slow moving on water.
