If you have ever seen the Roadrunner Cartoon, that
is exactly what I saw I this picture. I spotted this
Roadrunner creeping around the pond. With my
camera in hand and attempting to take a picture,
then he bolts. I snap a round of several of shots and
he was gone. Later, I look at the pictures and I see
this puffed up daddy quail in hot pursuit. I didn’t
have the camera set up for high speed action but it
caught enough to tell this story. Roadrunners are
meat eaters and love little baby Quail. The parents a
very protective so he puffed up to look bigger and the
chase was on.
