It was an exciting time to watch and learn about the Great Horned Owl.
While living in the Scottsdeale area, we were within a mile of the Tonto
National Forest. Wildlife was plentiful and would sometimes mix with
the human environment. Sometimes humans were less threatening
than the other predators in wildlife. We watched generations of the
Great Horned Owl grow and leave their nest. This partnership with the
wildlife community led to extraordinary photo opportunities.
