I shot this series while watch-
ing the Owl’s nest. A favorite
photographer’s hang out since
this nest is near a road with
easy access.The mom went to
A Harris Hawk attacking a Great a nearby cactus to get a break
Horned Owl from the 3 Owlets but didn’t
get much break with this Har-
ris Hawk that thought the Owl
was too close to their nest. So
minding her own business she
was aware of the problem so
she braced for impact, shields
up, deflection and no big deal.
