This Scrub Jay was a lot of fun. The friend of mine that I rented a room from in Canyon Lake California had made friends with this Jay. He would
come find the largest peanut in your hand and then go hide it in the yard. It was a game that I guess a lot of birds enjoy as you can see in my picture
of the Steller Jay I captured in Arizona. We called this Scrub Jay “Buddy”. He would pose for us if we placed a peanut there and even come hopping
in the house to find the open bag of peanuts.
